Zoink'd is a television show that will air in March of the year 2012. My school, Cardinal Leger, was able to be the live audience for the filming of the show. In this show kids judge adults on their talents. If the kids don't like the act, they zoink they contestants at the filming of the show we got to see all the different people, how the studio was arranged and the different talents. To be able to see all these things was an incredible experience.
There were many different people with different jobs at the studio. The judges were four different kids named Natalie, Wyse, Aleksa, and Neal. They had to zoink contestants that they thought were not good enough. To zoink the contestants the judges had pull a lever and things would be thrown at or on them, like balls, strings, and goo. The host was a guy named Adam. During the breaks Josh would come out to entertain us so we wouldn't be bored. There were eight contestants at the show only two of the contestants did not get zoink'd. After each act the goo crew came out to clean the stage. There were many other people with jobs like make up, set up, and much more. It was exciting to see how all these people did they're jobs at the studio.
It was amazing to see how the studio looked and know that it would probably look completely different on the television. The judges stayed in a podium with a lever beside them. The host stayed on the stage when they were filming but went somewhere else during breaks. When the contestants came out, they went to the center of the stage. On the top of the stage there was a tube where the goo came from and two other tubes on either side of the stage for the string and the balls. The whole place looked exactly like how I imagined a studio would. Being in the studio is an experience that I will always remember.
Seeing how they film a television show was one of the most extraordinary things that I have ever seen. Although I did not like the concept of the show, it was fun to watch while they were filming it. being at the studio is an experience that I will never forget.
