To Zoink Or Not To Zoink

          "Be Zany or be Zoink'd" said a judge from the show Zoink'd. In case you didn't know Zoink'd is a show where adults test to see if their talent is cool or not and to make this show even better they got kid judges. Now Zoink'd is located at the CBC building downtown and this show will be appearing on YTV.  Zoink'd is so hysterically funny because we get to see adults do some crazy and wacky things like we get see magicians, dancers, and some other crazy talents. If the adults do boring and non-cool, wacky, and funny stuff the judges will zoink them which means stuff will get dumped on them like ping-pong balls, streamers, footballs, and slime. Zoink'd is one of the best shows you will ever watch, I guarantee it. This was such a wonderful and funny experience.

     Speaking of wonderful and funny so are the show's judges and host. The judges are Natalie, Wyse, Aleksa, and Neal. The host of Zoink'd is Adam Christie, he is so hysterical. The judges Natalie, Wyse, Aleksa, and Neal are in charge of points, of course judging and zoinking the contestants. The one and only host of Zoink'd, Adam Christie, is in charge of mostly doing interviews with the contestants, doing intros, and doing the closings. Now that you know the names of the judges and the name of the host you probably want to know some information about them right?  Well Natalie is in grade 8, 13 years young, is blonde, and is judge number 1 on Zoink'd. Wyse is next and Wyse is a 6^th grader, 11 years young, has great style, and is judge number 2 on Zoink'd.  Next up Aleksa, Aleksa is a grade 7, brunette, and is judge number 3 on Zoink'd. Last but not least is Neal who is in grade 5, 10 years young, and is judge number 4 on Zoink'd.  Adam Christie is the skinny; hairspray using; hysterical host of Zoink'd.

          Not only is Adam hysterical but so were the contestants. In total there were 8 acts put together. There was a guy in a bear costume, a guitar playing guy, magician, horrible whistler, rope jumpers, Robert Patterson, a lady crying like a baby, and James Murphy. The guy in the bear costume was supposed to be a rapper but it looked like a bear costume, all he did was beat boxing and do some dance moves, when the guy began the judges zoink'd him. Next was the guitar playing guy, he wasn't bad no but it just wasn't cool or funny enough to win over the judges. Next up was the magician and all he really did was make somebody disappear, people thought it was cool but Wyse thought it wasn't original so zoink'd him and unfortunately the magican did not make the finals. Next up was the horrible whistler and all she really did was whistle while dancing, c'mon anybody can do that, I guess the judges felt the same way and zoink'd her. The next act was rope jumpers and they did some pretty cool tricks but I guess the tricks weren't good enough for the judges because they didn't make the finals. Next contestant was one of the contestants that made the finals and that is Robert Patterson.  Robert Patterson was a magician and he made water disappear and made a bean pop out of his eye, it was really cool and his trick as so good hat he made the finals. The second last contestant of the day was a lady crying like a baby, the judges thought it was kinda creepy and disturbing so they didn't let her get in the finals. Last contestant was the Zoink master and that is James Murphy and James is a break dancer and his dance moves were so smooth that it was enough for him to get into the finals and win the competition while getting $1000. It was really cool.

     Since we are talking about cool why don't we talk about the set of Zoink'd. Now that was an amazing place to be. On the set of Zoink'd you will see 2 tubes one pink and one blue. In those tubes there are canons that shoot stuff at the contestants if they get zoink'd. They get shot at with streamers, ping-pong balls, footballs, etc. But those aren't the only things that get dumped on the contestants. The contestants get dumped on with slime if all of the judges don't like the act. So if you look up you will see something green and it looks like a shelf, that's where the slime will come out. You've heard about the stage now let's talk about where the judges stand. The place where the judges stand kind of looks like a mini stage for them only. Ok, now the bleachers were mostly fun to sit on, well for me because I got a front row seat. Since there were 2 schools there we hade to separate the schools one on the left other on the right but since our school filled out on whole side of the bleachers the other half sat with the other school since there was more room. Another reason why sitting in the bleachers was so fun is because on our side there was a camera hovering around and the director said we'd be on camera the whole time. On our side there were at least 3 or 4 cameras one was even right in front of me, the camera guy said don't mind him so I didn't. Coolest I've ever been at.

     Zoink'd does sound pretty cool right? Right, well at least if you said yes. All the acts at Zoink'd were funny, cool, interesting, or just plain boring. This show is the most hilarious show I've ever been to and seen. What makes this show even better is that kids get to be included in this. This show might be one of the best shows on YTV. Why? It's because you get to see adults do some crazy wacky things. I don't know about you, but I'll be catching Zoink'd on YTV soon. This was such an amazing experience and show.
