Macbeth Summary
Have you ever heard of the amazing William Shakespeare play called 'Macbeth'? Well, the setting is in Scotland and the king at that time was King Duncan. Macbeth dreamed to be King of Scotland one day, and
he did all that he can to get what he wanted. This whole thing started off with the three 'weird' witches who were brewing a magic potion that was designed to help fulfill an evil prophecy. While doing that,
they all sang 'Double, double toil and trouble; fire burn, and caldron bubble,' altogether after each part.
On the other hand, King Duncan of Scotland heared the news that Macbeth and Banquo, his generals, have defeated two different armies in the battle! While they were on their way to meet the king, they saw the witches. The three of them told Macbeth that he will become Thane of Cawdor and that eventually he will one day take King Duncan's spot as the King of Scotland. For Banquo, they said that his descendant
will become King of Scotland, but not Banquo himself. When Duncan's men arrived, as a reward, Macbeth had been made Thane of Cawdor because of his great work in the battle. Macbeth started to believe
the witches after all. One night, King Duncan and Macbeth planned to dine together at Macbeth's castle. As soon as the news got to Lady Macbeth that the king and his sons were coming, she convinced Macbeth
to kill the king so that he will take his spot. He did what she said and he stabbed King Duncan while he was sleeping, also he planned to blame it all on the chamberlains that they also killed. In all this insanity, he remembered that Banquo's descendant would become King of Scotland so he hired someone to kill Banquo and his son, but his son Fleance escaped. During a feast, Macbeth acted crazy in front of the Scottish nobility, and they started to think that he wasn't ready to be King. Macduff, one of the people there, wanted to overthrow Macbeth. Anyways, Macbeth went to visit the witches to know more about what would happen next. They told him that he was incapable of being harmed by any man born of woman, that he would be safe until 'Birnam Wood' would go to Dunsinane Castle, and also to beware of Macduff. While Macduff was busy in England, Macbeth sent people to murder Macduff's wife and children. As a result, Macduff wanted revenge on Macbeth. Meanwhile, Lady Macbeth started to go crazy because of all the guilt she felt, so she killed herself in despair.
The confidence that Macbeth had disappeared when he saw an army, including Macduff and Malcolm, approaching the castle while holding branches from Birnam Wood. During the horrific battle, Macbeth found
out that Macduff wasn't born of woman which made it a lot scarier for him. In conclusion, Macduff beheaded Macbeth and Malcolm became the King of Scotland.

How far would you go to be king of Scotland? For Macbeth, a general of the Scottish King Duncan, who would very soon be made Thane of Cawdor (a very high ranking in Scottish Nobility). He was quite eager to be king once he had heard he was next in line to the throne. This play is set in Scotland, in the time of Shakespeare which is probably around the middle ages. This play includes 3 witches, Scottish King Duncan,
Macbeth, Banquo, Malcolm, Donalbian, Lady Macbeth, Macduff, and Fleance. The three witches would meet Macbeth and Banquo, while going on their way to the king to tell the two their destiny. Scottish King
Duncan was the king of Scotland before Macbeth took over, his two sons Malcolm and Donalbian were before Macbeth to the throne. Macbeth was the man who was told by a fortune from the witches that he was next in line to the throne. Macbeth was married to Lady Macbeth, and also kills the King, Donalbian and Banquo. Banquo was later on in the play killed by Macbeth, he was one of the king's generals, and also had a
son named Fleance, who would later on at the end of the play take the throne. Lady Macbeth was married to Macbeth, and also persuades Macbeth into killing King Duncan. Lady Macbeth later kills herself because of an overwhelming sense of guilt. The fair Macduff was one of the people who gave out the Thane of Cawdor awards out, who alsobeheads Macbeth at the near ending of the play.
Macbeth, a tragedy by Shakespeare, first printed in the First folio of 1623, probably written and first performed in 1606. The witch's prophecies were fulfilled about Macbeth's future, just not in the way
he thought. Three witche3s were making a magic potion designed to help fill an evil prophecy. The three of them would scream horrid things that would make you shiver. On the other side of town, Macbeth and
Banquo were getting praised by King Duncan for their tremendous work of defeating two separate armies. As Macbeth and Banquo were walking to the king's palace, they had bumped into the three witches. The
three witches had told Macbeth that he would be honoured with the Thane of Cawdor (ranking of the Scottish Nobility) and that he would eventually become king. Macbeth believes them and tells his wife, Lady
Macbeth, the news. Lady Macbeth insisted that Macbeth invite King Duncan over so they could kill him. Lady Macbeth had insisted this because in order for Macbeth to become king, King Duncan could either
have to step down or be killed. So Macbeth agreed and stabbed King Duncan later on that night while he was sleeping. Macbeth was crowned King of Scotland. Macbeth remembers when the witches say that Banquo descendent would one day become King of Scotland. He hires an assassin to kill Banquo and his son, Fleance. Banquo is killed, but Fleance escapes the attacks. Macbeth is visited by Banquo ghost at a feast; this raises Macduff suspension on Macbeth. Macduff decides to de-thrown Macbeth.
"Look like the innocent flower, but be the serpent under it" – Macbeth
. Macbeth decides to get to the three witches because he is getting more paranoid on this crazy situation. The three witches tell him that he should be cautious around Macduff, will not be harmed by anyone who was by any man born of woman. Also he was told he will be safe until the forest reaches the castle. Macbeth was certain that none of these things would happen, but later he was aware that Macduff along with Malcolm were plotting to kill him. So Macbeth had went to kill Macbeths wife, children and his castle be seized. Over in the castle of Macbeth, Lady Macbeth had killed herself in despair of herself taking part in King Duncan's murder. Once Macbeth hears this terrible lost he is very depressed, but still tries to focus Macduff and Malcolm. What Macbeth doesn't know is that Macduff, Malcolm and a large army is out to kill him. Macbeth with no fear packs a large army to fight Malcolm and Macduff army, including himself. Macbeth sees Macduff on the battlefield. As they fight, Macduff whispers to Macbeth, 'I was not born of woman; I was untimely ripped from my mothers womb.' Macduff then beheads Macbeth, and Malcolm becomes King of Scotland. Later on the other son of Banquo, Fleance becomes the King of Scotland.

This wonderful play is set in Scotland, where three witches are found brewing a magic potion designed to help fulfill an evil prophesy. As they chant famous words, let me introduce you to the other characters. Macbeth and Banquo are Scottish military generals who have currently defeated two separate armies in battle. King Duncan is the king of Scotland. Lady Macbeth is of course Macbeth's spouse. I'm assuming that Macduff is a royal guest at the dinner that plans to overthrow Macbeth. There is also Banquo's son Fleance and King Duncan's son Malcolm.
In the beginning of Macbeth, the two generals Macbeth and Banquo are on their way to meet the king. As they journey to meet the royalty, they come across three witches. The three witches tell Macbeth that
he is soon to be king of Scotland and that Banquo's descendent will become king of Scotland. Some of the Duncan's men arrived soon after that, and as an award for his brave performance in battle; Macbeth has
indeed been made Thane of Cawdor. For some reason, Lady Macbeth convinced Macbeth to murder king Duncan and take the thrown for himself. Which he did. Macbeth planned to murder King Duncan in his sleep, blame it on the chamberlains and kill the chamberlains just to say he killed them out of anger for "killing" the king. At one dinner, Banquo's ghost haunted Macbeth to act insane. Macduff (one of the guests) wanted to overthrow Macbeth. Lady Macbeth killed herself because of her guilt in convincing Macbeth to kill King Duncan. In theend, Macduff beheads Macbeth in battle and King Duncan's son Malcolm becomes king of Scotland. In later years, Banquo's son Fleance becomes king. All the witches' prophecies were fulfilled.
I think this all happened because of immaturity. Why would you kill someone just for the thrown? Especially when you don't even have a problem with the king. That person was somebody's husband, brother, son, uncle, or even cousin; and you killed them over their spot? How inconsiderate. I don't think Macbeth would like to be killed in his sleep. I don't think the chamberlains enjoyed it either. Macbeth got his karma from Macduff, but one day Macduff will get his karma. Whatgoes around, comes around.

The play of "Macbeth", which is a famous play by Shakespeare, is set in Scotland and begins with three witches who are making a potion that will help fulfill a prophesy. The prophesy starts when the two generals of the Scottish King Duncan, Macbeth and Banqou, are coming to meet the King after defeating two armies in battle. While they are on their way to see the King, they meet the three witches. The witches tell them that Macbeth will one day become King. They also say that Banqou's descendent will one day be King. Macbeth does not believe them until he is made a Scottish Nobel by the King. When the king goes to Macbeth's castle to dine, Lady Macbeth tells Macbeth that he should steal the thrown by killing the King. Macbeth kills the King as, Lady Macbeth had told him, and is crowned King of Scotland after blaming the murder on the King Duncan'sservants. Since the witches had said that Banqou's descendant would one day be King of Scotland, Macbeth gets someone to kill Banqou and his son, Fleance. Banqou is killed but his son was able to get away.
At a feast held for the nobles in the castle, Macbeth sees Banqou's ghost and starts to act as though he is crazy. After seeing Macbeth act this way his guests begin to wonder if he is fit to be their King. One of the guests, whose name was Macduff was planning to overthrow Macbeth after the feast. After seeing Banqou's ghost, Macbeth goes to see the witches because of how paranoid and insane he had become after the encounter.
The witches tell him to beware of Macduff, this worries him, but he is reassured when they tell him that he will not be harmed by any man born of women and that he will be safe until Birnam Woods comes to Dunsinane Castel. Because of what the witches had said about Macduff, Macbeth orders Macduff's family to be killed. When Macduff hears of this he vows to take revenge on Macbeth. Meanwhile Lady Macbeth has killed herself due to the guilt that she felt for being the one who had told Macbeth to kill the King Duncan. Macduff later comes back tofight Macbeth with an army that he has formed with the King Duncan's son, Malcolm, who also wishes to overthrow Macbeth. Macduff's uses branches that they had taken from Birnam Woods to shield themselves.
While Macbeth and Macduff fight, Macduff tells Macbeth that he was not born of women but untimely ripped from his mother's womb. After Macduff kills Macbeth, Malcolm becomes the new King of Scotland. Later

"Double, double toil and trouble; Fire burn, and caldron bubble". Three witches, in Scotland, were making a potion to help fulfil an evil prophesy. As they were working Macbeth and Banquo, two of King Duncan's general's, stopped by the three witches. The witches told Macbeth and Banquo the future they would have and so the prophesy began. At first Macbeth didn't believe it but after a reward of "Throne of Cawdor" by the king something had changed in Macbeth. He remembered that the witches said he would become Throne of Cawdor and eventually king of Scotland. Lady Macbeth convinced Macbeth to kill King Duncan and take the throne for himself. Macbeth murdered the king. When the murder was noticed in the morning Macbeth killed the king's chamberlains pretending that he had killed them because he was angry that the chamberlains had killed the king. By doing this Macbeth was crowned King of Scotland.

As the days went on Macbeth became paranoid. He was worried about the witch's prophecy where Banquo's son would become king. He sent someone to kill Banquo and his son Fleance. Banquo was killed but Fleance escaped. Macbeth knew something was coming by Macduff. He ordered that his castle be seized and that his family be killed.  When Macduff hears about this he promises to get back at him. With Macbeth's family Lady Macbeth was going insane. She did something wrong that she shouldn't have done and she was seeing imaginary blood on her hands. This caused her to kill herself. Macbeth was hurt but he was still confident with taking Macduff down. Macbeth and Macduff met on the battlefield which ended with a very gruesome death of beheading Macbeth. Years later Fleance became king and the witch's prophecy fulfilled.

Macbeth Summary
"Round the caldron we go; in the poison'd entrails throw." This is a line from Shakespeare's famous play, Macbeth. Macbeth, the name of the play, is also the name of one of the main characters. Other people
(more or less, because there are witches) are featured in this play including three old witches that tell prophecies, Banquo, Macbeth's best friend, the Scottish king Duncan, Malcolm and Donalblian, the
king's sons, Macduff, who overthrows Macbeth when Macbeth becomes king, and Lady Macbeth, who is Macbeth's wife. In the play everyone was in Scotland and it was during the time of the reign of Duncan, the
reign of Macbeth, and the reign of Malcolm. After Macbeth and Banquo defeat two armies in battle they were walking to meet their king when they were confronted by three witches. The witches told them that
Macbeth will become a Scottish noble and eventually the king. They told Banquo that he will not become king but his descendent would. Macbeth did not think any of this was true until the king awarded him with the Thane of Cawdor (a Scottish noble rank).
After he got back his wife, Lady Macbeth, convinced Macbeth to kill the king and become king himself. So he thinks that this is part of the prophecy and does what she says. Then he becomes king. Macbeth is
now paranoid about Banquo and his descendent becoming king so he hires someone to kill Banquo and Fleance, his son. Banquo was assassinated but his son escaped blood. After this occurred, Macbeth had dinner with some Scottish nobles but the ghost of Banquo haunts him and he goes insane. So one of the nobles, Macduff, plots to overthrow him because they don't see him fit to be a king. Later Macbeth went back to the witches and they told him to beware of Macduff, Macbeth is incapable of being harmed by any man born of woman, and he would be safe until Birnam Wood comes to Dunsinane Castle. He wasn't worried about the last two parts since forest cannot move and every man is born of woman. Meanwhile Lady Macbeth goes insane trying to wash the imaginary blood off her hands and kills herself. She feels too much guilt for taking part in the killing of the king. Macbeth, now sad from the loss of his wife, is still not scared until he hears that Malcolm, Macduff, and an army is coming to the castle shielding themselves with branches from Birnam Wood. On the warzone Macbeth fights Macduff and Macduff discovers that Macduff was not born of woman but untimely ripped from his mom's womb. Macduff then beheaded Macbeth. Malcolm then becomes king of Scotland. In later years so does Fleance.

                                                                 SUMMARY OF Macbeth    By: Duckboy
A potion gets brewed by 3 witches, who are using the mixture to discover a prophecy. Macbeth, who had just defeated two armies with his comrade, Banquo, while working for King Duncan of Scotland, is approached by the witches, who alert him that he will first become Thane of Cawdor, and later become the King. The witches also tell Banquo that his son or daughter will also be king, and these two prophecies are believed when King Duncan sends men to tell Macbeth that he has been rewarded as Thane of Cawdor.
Macbeth invites the King to his castle, and Macbeth's wife convinces him that he must murder the King in order to become King, so while King Duncan is asleep, Macbeth kills him, and kills the King's guards after putting the blame on them. Macbeth is crowned the King of Scotland. But, Macbeth wasn't done killing, because he remembered how Banquo's son or daughter would soon become King of Scotland, and he killed Banquo, though Banquo's son escaped. Soon after, Banquo appears as a ghost in front of Macbeth, driving him insane, and one of his guests, Macduff, sees the insanity as a reason to stop Macbeth from continuing as King.
Macbeth goes to see the witches, who tell him that no one who is "born of woman" could kill Macbeth, that Macduff is a threat, and that "Birnam Wood comes to Dunsinane Castle". Using the witches' warning of Macduff, he sends soldiers to kill Macduff's family and to take his castle. Macbeth's wife eventually kills herself from guilt of killing King Duncan, and Macbeth is driven even more insane, though he still feels out of reach of harm. But, Macduff brings an army to kill Macbeth, carrying Birnam Wood tree branches for protection. Macbeth and Macduff begin to fight, while Macduff explains that he was "untimely ripped" from his mother, so he wasn't actually "born of woman", and then he cuts Macbeth's head off.
Malcolm, the son of King Duncan, becomes the new King of Scotland, and Banquo's escaped son Fleance becomes King after Malcolm- so all of the witches' prophecies are fulfilled.
