How far would you go to be king of Scotland? For Macbeth, a general of the Scottish King Duncan, who would very soon be made Thane of Cawdor (a very high ranking in Scottish Nobility). He was quite eager to be king once he had heard he was next in line to the throne. This play is set in Scotland, in the time of Shakespeare which is probably around the middle ages. This play includes 3 witches, Scottish King Duncan,
Macbeth, Banquo, Malcolm, Donalbian, Lady Macbeth, Macduff, and Fleance. The three witches would meet Macbeth and Banquo, while going on their way to the king to tell the two their destiny. Scottish King
Duncan was the king of Scotland before Macbeth took over, his two sons Malcolm and Donalbian were before Macbeth to the throne. Macbeth was the man who was told by a fortune from the witches that he was next in line to the throne. Macbeth was married to Lady Macbeth, and also kills the King, Donalbian and Banquo. Banquo was later on in the play killed by Macbeth, he was one of the king's generals, and also had a
son named Fleance, who would later on at the end of the play take the throne. Lady Macbeth was married to Macbeth, and also persuades Macbeth into killing King Duncan. Lady Macbeth later kills herself because of an overwhelming sense of guilt. The fair Macduff was one of the people who gave out the Thane of Cawdor awards out, who alsobeheads Macbeth at the near ending of the play.
Macbeth, a tragedy by Shakespeare, first printed in the First folio of 1623, probably written and first performed in 1606. The witch's prophecies were fulfilled about Macbeth's future, just not in the way
he thought. Three witche3s were making a magic potion designed to help fill an evil prophecy. The three of them would scream horrid things that would make you shiver. On the other side of town, Macbeth and
Banquo were getting praised by King Duncan for their tremendous work of defeating two separate armies. As Macbeth and Banquo were walking to the king's palace, they had bumped into the three witches. The
three witches had told Macbeth that he would be honoured with the Thane of Cawdor (ranking of the Scottish Nobility) and that he would eventually become king. Macbeth believes them and tells his wife, Lady
Macbeth, the news. Lady Macbeth insisted that Macbeth invite King Duncan over so they could kill him. Lady Macbeth had insisted this because in order for Macbeth to become king, King Duncan could either
have to step down or be killed. So Macbeth agreed and stabbed King Duncan later on that night while he was sleeping. Macbeth was crowned King of Scotland. Macbeth remembers when the witches say that Banquo descendent would one day become King of Scotland. He hires an assassin to kill Banquo and his son, Fleance. Banquo is killed, but Fleance escapes the attacks. Macbeth is visited by Banquo ghost at a feast; this raises Macduff suspension on Macbeth. Macduff decides to de-thrown Macbeth.
"Look like the innocent flower, but be the serpent under it" – Macbeth
. Macbeth decides to get to the three witches because he is getting more paranoid on this crazy situation. The three witches tell him that he should be cautious around Macduff, will not be harmed by anyone who was by any man born of woman. Also he was told he will be safe until the forest reaches the castle. Macbeth was certain that none of these things would happen, but later he was aware that Macduff along with Malcolm were plotting to kill him. So Macbeth had went to kill Macbeths wife, children and his castle be seized. Over in the castle of Macbeth, Lady Macbeth had killed herself in despair of herself taking part in King Duncan's murder. Once Macbeth hears this terrible lost he is very depressed, but still tries to focus Macduff and Malcolm. What Macbeth doesn't know is that Macduff, Malcolm and a large army is out to kill him. Macbeth with no fear packs a large army to fight Malcolm and Macduff army, including himself. Macbeth sees Macduff on the battlefield. As they fight, Macduff whispers to Macbeth, 'I was not born of woman; I was untimely ripped from my mothers womb.' Macduff then beheads Macbeth, and Malcolm becomes King of Scotland. Later on the other son of Banquo, Fleance becomes the King of Scotland.

Macbeth Summary
"Round the caldron we go; in the poison'd entrails throw." This is a line from Shakespeare's famous play, Macbeth. Macbeth, the name of the play, is also the name of one of the main characters. Other people
(more or less, because there are witches) are featured in this play including three old witches that tell prophecies, Banquo, Macbeth's best friend, the Scottish king Duncan, Malcolm and Donalblian, the
king's sons, Macduff, who overthrows Macbeth when Macbeth becomes king, and Lady Macbeth, who is Macbeth's wife. In the play everyone was in Scotland and it was during the time of the reign of Duncan, the
reign of Macbeth, and the reign of Malcolm. After Macbeth and Banquo defeat two armies in battle they were walking to meet their king when they were confronted by three witches. The witches told them that
Macbeth will become a Scottish noble and eventually the king. They told Banquo that he will not become king but his descendent would. Macbeth did not think any of this was true until the king awarded him with the Thane of Cawdor (a Scottish noble rank).
After he got back his wife, Lady Macbeth, convinced Macbeth to kill the king and become king himself. So he thinks that this is part of the prophecy and does what she says. Then he becomes king. Macbeth is
now paranoid about Banquo and his descendent becoming king so he hires someone to kill Banquo and Fleance, his son. Banquo was assassinated but his son escaped blood. After this occurred, Macbeth had dinner with some Scottish nobles but the ghost of Banquo haunts him and he goes insane. So one of the nobles, Macduff, plots to overthrow him because they don't see him fit to be a king. Later Macbeth went back to the witches and they told him to beware of Macduff, Macbeth is incapable of being harmed by any man born of woman, and he would be safe until Birnam Wood comes to Dunsinane Castle. He wasn't worried about the last two parts since forest cannot move and every man is born of woman. Meanwhile Lady Macbeth goes insane trying to wash the imaginary blood off her hands and kills herself. She feels too much guilt for taking part in the killing of the king. Macbeth, now sad from the loss of his wife, is still not scared until he hears that Malcolm, Macduff, and an army is coming to the castle shielding themselves with branches from Birnam Wood. On the warzone Macbeth fights Macduff and Macduff discovers that Macduff was not born of woman but untimely ripped from his mom's womb. Macduff then beheaded Macbeth. Malcolm then becomes king of Scotland. In later years so does Fleance.

The play starts off in Scotland. There are three witches whom are designing a magic potion to help a very evil prophecy. Just recently, Macbeth and Banquo have defeated two armies in battle. King Duncan just found out by his generals about the news. While Banquo and Macbeth were on their way to meet King Duncan, they
suddenly encounter three odd witches. They tell him that Macbeth will become king of Scotland, but for that to happen, Banquo must be descended. At first Macbeth did not believe them until King Duncan's men arrived to tell him that he has a reward for his braveness during battle. Then, Macbeth and King Duncan plan a dining together at Macbeth's castle. When Macbeth arrives home, Lady Macbeth convinces Macbeth to kill King Duncan and have the throne to him to fulfill the prophecy. Macbeth and his wife get King Duncan's chamberlains' entirely drunk, so that when King Duncan falls asleep, he can stab him. The next morning, Macbeth killed King Duncan's chamberlains' to make the people think that he is angry of his death. Suddenly, Macbeth remembers what the witches said. So then Macbeth sends someone to kill Banquo and his son feleance.
Macbeth went to visit the three witches increasingly insane. The witches said that he must beware of Macduff, he is not capable of being harmed if any men are "born of a women" and he will be safe until "Birman wood arrives to Dunsinane Castle". After the witches spoke to him, he was still concerned about Macduff. Macbeth suddenly finds out that Macduff has gone to England to plan an attack on Macbeth. Then he immediately orders Macduffs castle to be seized at once, including the killing of his children and wife. Later on, Lady Macbeth has become extremely guilty because of King Duncan's murder.
Then she kills herself instantly. When Macbeth find out about her death, he becomes very sad but he is still confident that he has nothing to fear. Macbeth and Macduff encounter each other on the battle field. While they fought Macduff tells Macbeth that, he was not born of a woman. Then in an instant Macduff beheads Macbeth. Now Malcom is the king of Scotland and the witches' prophecy are fulfilled.

My class Reflection on Shakespeare.
I have heard of Romeo and Juliet. Honestly, I think it's a great story
because Shakespeare proves that there aren't always happy endings.
Romeo and Juliet proves a lot of life lessons like, if you love
someone, it shouldn't matter what your parents or anyone say; you're
feelings matter too. Shakespeare also shows you that nothing can break
love, and if you're doing what's right, it shouldn't matter what the
consequences are. But personally, I think that Shakespeare could have
showed you that even if you lost somebody, you have to stay strong.
You can't just kill yourself to be with them. People would miss you
also. Maybe God made that person leave your life to find someone
better. You never really know. You especially can't know if you commit
suicide. Over all, Romeo and Juliet was alright.
