"Be zany, or be zoink'd". That is the motto for the show Zoink'd. It's a game show, that's trying to find the most funny and creative person. The person who wins the competition, will get $1000. Warning, the $1000 may come in pennies. Now, the only question now is, Who's going to win?
The show about four judges, who are Natalie, Wyse, Aleska and Neal. By the way, the host for this show is Adam Christie. Just a reminder, they're trying to find out who is the most funny, exciting, outrageous person. The person with the highest points overall, will win $1000. In total there were eight performances throughout the whole show. There was the dancing rapper/bear guy, The guitar/singing guy, the magician, the bad whistler lady, the rope jumpers, Robert Patterson, the baby crying girl and James Murphy. All of the contestants got zoink'd, but Robert Pattinson  and James Murphy. The judges thought that they both preformed wonderfully, they thought it was the best thing ever! One reminder, there can only be one winner. Which is James Murphy, he did a great break dancing performance.
The studio of the zoink'd show was pretty well laid out. It was also cozy. It was never freezing or burning hot, the temperature in the studio was just right. The only thing I didn't really like about the studio, was the seats in the back were the audience had to sit in. The seats were all attached to each other and if one of the people in the row would lean back with it. It was pretty annoying. Overall, all give a studio an A+.
At the break/commercials there would be this guy named josh, who was are entertainer so to speak. He was a very funny, enthusiastic person. Josh would talk to us through a microphone and ask us how we are and how were doing. Then he'd ask they audience if anyone had a good talent. So the first person that came on down was jade, from grade eight. Her talent was singing. So she sang her entertaining           song. Then show came back on, then came the next brake. There were enough time for two best talent performances. So the first performance was a boy named Marcel in grade eight. He came up to josh, Josh said " So what's your talent Marcel"? Marcel replied, "nothing". So basically Marcel came up for nothing. He just said hi, good talent eh (sarcasm)? The second talent was Ethan from grade seven. His talent was dancing so then Josh and Ethan did a "booty pop". It was by far the most hilarious thing ever. Then the show came back on, then the last break was on and Josh and Adam came out. They threw marshmallow's at the audience to catch the marshmallow's so that they would aim and try to get the marsh mellow in Adams mouth. I think only about two people got marshmallow's in Adam's mouth. Every break was overall entertaining in every way.
Over all of the complication about the seats, the show was amazing. Some acts were great, and some were just plain clueless. But I have seen the difference between what I see on my television to the actual studio. It's not actually what it seems. The show is basically a reality game show, but it actually isn't because They are re-doing parts, and it's not like a live game show. All of the judges come from acting agencies. They edit most of the parts. It's just crazy what people do on television. Shocking but when it's on air, I bet they will make it a good show.

  1. I liked your essay. Now i regret not going on the field trip. You explained in great details what the show is about and the events. your essay was very entertaining. you made a mistake in the 4th paragraph;marshmallow not marsh mellow. Besides that your essay was amazing.
